Adopting Your Kitten
Waiting List | Reservation
If you are considering to embrace a new family member, please contact us to make an arrangement. We expect kittens in early Spring 2025. For future litters we gladly accept reservations. We can also place your name on the waiting list.
Reservation Process
We require to contact us prior placing a deposit for your kitten. We will email an invoice for the deposit. By placing a deposit to reserve a kitten, you are agreeing to our Emerald Crow policies. The deposit of $500 is not refundable. We gladly accept credit card payments, Venmo and Zelle.
The deposit will be applied toward the total balance. We will accept the remaining balance at the time of picking up your kitten and will provide the receipt. If the kitten needs to be delivered by a reputable Nanny Service, the remaining balance and shipping fees need to be paid in full, at least two weeks before scheduled delivery.

Adoption Package:
Emerald Crow, as a responsible Maine Coon Cattery, will offer a comprehensive package provided when a new kitten is adopted. It is crucial for ensuring the kitten's well-being and setting you up as the new owner for a loving transition and success.
A detailed vaccination and deworming information already administered and a schedule for future vaccination’s recommendation will be provided (FVRCP, Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV), Rabies). Additional Vaccine recommendations should be discussed with your veterinary provider (Depending on Lifestyle and Risk).
Spaying/Neutering Information: If the kitten is old enough, it may already be spayed or neutered. If not, the information will be provided on when and why this should be done, and it will be included in a contract clause requiring it.
Microchip: If the kitten is microchipped, the new owner will be provided with the registration information and instructions on how to update the contact details.
Care Instructions: Detailed instructions on feeding, grooming, litter training, and general care specific to the Maine Coon breed and general needs will be provided.
Socialization and Training Tips: Information on how the kitten has been socialized so far and tips for continuing this process in their new home will be provided.
Lifetime Support: We offer ongoing support and we believe it will help to ensure your kitten's well-being and provide peace of mind to you as a new owner. We are encouraging you to reach out with any questions.
Return Policy: We have a policy stating that if you can no longer care for the kitten, we ask you to return our baby to us rather than surrendering the cat to a shelter. Detailed information will be outlined in the contract.
